Patrick Hofer takes 4wd at Swiss Rd3

Patrrick Hofer takes 4wd at Swiss Rd3

Round 3 of the Swiss electric offroad nationals were run last weekend in Obernau (Switzerland) on a multi-surface track combining Astroturf, carpet and wood. On Saturday Associated/Reedy driver Patrick Hofer started showing his domination in the 4wd practice and was a lap ahead of 2nd in qualifying, taking the TQ spot in the 4wd class. In 2wd he placed his B4.2 2nd. During the finals it started to rain so some drivers saw a chance for the win but Patrick’s B44.2 seemed unbeatable on the slippy track and so he won both finals and secured the overall win in 4wd modified ahead of Peter Forster (Yokomo) in 2nd and Patrick Vogt (Durango) in 3rd. In 2wd modified he finished 2nd.

Thanks to Patrick Hofer for the report.
