Alessio Mazzeo wins 1/10th scale European B championships

Alessi Mazzeo wins 1/10th scale European B championships

Just a brief update to let you know that Serpent 720 driver Alessio Mazzeo has won the 2007 1/10th scale European B championships held in Roeselare, Belgium. The young Italian won by one lap after 45 minutes of action, having dropped down just behind Eric Dankel after a tire change, but the advantage of this change was enough that he could overhaul the German racer and regain the lead. Dankel took the 2nd place for Mugen in a very close battle with Rocco Ania of Italy driving a Team Magic G4s. We hope to have a full report later on in the day.

This final was won by Ciarlone Cristiano. First it was Maarten Kempeneers who was driving his car to victory but suddenly his engine stalled. He recoverd to second position.

Most of the time Tomaschko Daniel was leading this final but after 15 minutes of racing he hit trouble. There was something wrong with his car. Schär Traugott took his car to victory. He was followed by Gilliland Mark and Ralf Krause.

Daan Jacobs was leading this final but he hit troubles. Brown Stephen took his place followed by Ania Rocco and Morgenstern Mirko. It seems that Mirko had Radio problems. Chris Slater became second in front of Ania Rocco.

Actually there is not that much to say. We had a very clean race, Alessio Mazzeo almost lead from start to finish. Congratulations to al the pilots, everyone drove a great final expeccially Alessio who had pool potition and won the final!!!
