Last weekend the Nordic championships for 1/10th 2WD and 4WD buggy was held in Stockholm, Sweden at the Skarpnäck race track. The field was mostly Swedish drivers but also had many Norwegians and Danish drivers in attendance. The 4wd class was dominated by Sweden’s PerErik Nordman, winning all 4 qualifying rounds and setting the best lap time, he TQ’d ahead of Mikael Johansson and Ketil Pettersen. In the finals PerErik stayed cool and could take home the first two finals from his TQ position and was able to claim the overall in front of Christoffer Svensson in 2nd and Mikael Johansson in 3rd.
In 2wd the Swedish 1/8th top driver Christoffer Svensson took TQ by winning 2 out the 4 qualifying rounds, while Michael Nilsson was 2nd and Mattias Forsberg 3rd. Svensson made the most out of his TQ and won the first 2 finals to be crowned the Nordic Champion in 2WD. Ketil Pettersen took 2nd place and in 3rd was PerErik Nordman who had a really good battle with Svensson in the 2nd final.
