Reedy Race of Champions – Preview

Reedy Race of Champions - Preview

The Reedy Race of Champions has long time been a favorite race of mine to watch, for as it seemed that no other race would go on around the country and all eyes were on this race. As we know in the past this most prestigious race has been held at the Tamiya facility headquartered in Sunny Aliso Viejo California and its time there has always been a great race to watch and participate.

As the years past this race found its way to Roseville California to a well know facility called Speedworld Raceway & Hobbies, and these past few years the Reedy Race of Champions has continued it success in the hands of a gentleman racer and promoter named Billy Bowerman, and many thanks to him for continuing this races success.

As most things seem to change for the better or worst, I’m happy to say that this years Reedy Race of Champions has found its way to a special place called Norcal Hobbies located in Sunny Union City California. As it seems the weather always holds out for the best conditions and with such a beautiful facility to hold this most special race on Memorial Day Weekend, it’s already proven to be another great show to watch. There is no doubt that Norcal Hobbies has the potential for being one of the most vibrant and easygoing places to hold races of this caliber for many years to come.

With that being said, let the stage be set for one of the most popular races that is going to take place this year, already the top guns have showed up to claim there spot and prepare to claim there spot on the top level of the podium.

Thrusday will be controlled practice and we hope to get a report at the end of the day.

Thanks to Joel Hernandez for the report.
