XB808 Wins 2010 Wellington Champs R3 in New Zealand
Around 40 buggys and truggies from all over New Zealand turned up for the 3rd running of the 2010 Wellington Champs dubbed the “Windy 500” Championship on the Capital Model Racers track. NT1 Wins YDP Challenge Trophy & MNC R4
The Malaysia National Championship round 4 (of 7 rounds) was held at the newest permanent RC track in Dungun Terengganu, and was attended by almost 100 drivers from all over Malaysia. The track is located on the beach side on the east coast of Malaysia, 5 hours from Kuala Lumpur. Continue reading…
NT1 Wins 2010 1/10 Nitro US On-Road Nationals
The 2010 Roar On-road Gas Nationals was held in Lincoln, Nebraska on June 7th-13th. Team RCAmerica/ XRAY drivers in attendance was Ralph Burch, Paul Lemieux, Chris Dosack, Tom Espo, Diatta Collymore and many support drivers. Drew Ellis was there to help the team also. Continue reading…
XB808 Dominates Portuguese South Regional Championship R3
Last weekend on May 22/23, I went to round 3 of the South Regional at the Evora track. The race was attended by 35 drivers and the day started with very hot temperatures, showing that it would be an endurance test for engines and cars.Continue reading…
T2‘009 Wins Stock & T3 Double Podium Finish at Victorian State Titles
The 2010 Victorian EP Onroad State Titles was always going to be a hotly contested meeting with 106 total entries. Many NSW top guns traveled down to Vic to ensure competitive racing. The weather played a big part but the meeting was still run without too many stopages. Continue reading…
XB808 Wins Swiss Championship R2
Round 2 of the Swiss Championship was held on the weekend of May 22/23 in the beautiful town of Rolle at Lake Geneva. This track is purpose-built each year for this race only, and is on the grounds of Castle Rolle. Contrary to the many weeks before, the sun was shining all weekend and we enjoyed the nice weather. There were 56 expert drivers present and 68 in the amateur category. Continue reading…
