Torrance Deguzman joins HPI R&D team

HPI Racing is proud to announce the addition of Torrance Deguzman to HPI’s R&D team. Torrance is a Southern California local who graduated from the University of California, Irvine, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Torrance was introduced to his first R/C car at the age of ten, and it has always been more than just a hobby for him, it is his passion. He has made that very clear by having over ten years of experience working in the R/C industry, as well as having designed a wide array of vehicles. From two wheels to four wheels, nitro to electric, on-road to off-road, 1/18th-scale to 1/5th-scale and entry level RTR’s to reigning IFMAR World Champion vehicles, Torrance has positioned himself amongst the industry’s finest designers. Torrance had the following to say about joining the HPI Racing family:

HPI is famous for creating fun and exciting products, and it is evident in vehicles such as the Baja 5B, Mini-Trophy, Cup Racer, and all the way back to the original RS4 series. I am honored to have the privilege to be part of the HPI team and to continue this tradition of innovation and originality.
