Aaron Lane & Keith Whisler win at JBRL Rd3

This past weekend at Palm Desert R/C Raceway was round 3 of the JBRL electric series. The track layout was fast and fun with really high grip setting up for a great weekend of racing. In the super competitive Mod 2wd class Frank Root would take TQ using both his TLR 22 mid motor car in Rd1 and in the final round of qualifying use his TLR rear motor car to hold off the overall TQ. In the Main, a mistake from Frank Root in the early stages of the 6 minute race would give the lead to Aaron Lane who would go on to take his first JBRL 2wd Mod win with his TLR 22.

In the Sportsman stock truck class Keith Whisler would start the day off right with a TQ in round 1 of qualifying that would be good enough to give him the overall TQ of the day. It is always nice to start out front in electric racing with short 6 minute mains. It would show to be true with a great start in the main from Keith and some consistent laps he would take home his second win of the year in the Sportsman stock truck class. Keith would also take the 3rd spot on the podium in the Sportsman stock buggy class with his TLR 22.
