Felix Law wins FT Cup in China

Last weekend in Guangzhou, China, IN-hobby & a local track hosted a 1/10 nitro & 1/10 electric touring car race called the FT Cup. Hot Bodies driver Felix Law from the United States, dominated the Electric side of the event. Driving the HB TCX he was able to use the 1st round of qualifying to dominate the competition running a 16 laps in 5 minutes & 3 seconds. The closest driver was Fai Ho from Hong Kong driving the Serpent S411 who was 5 second behind.

During the 1st main, Felix Law was able to use the TQ spot to his advantage, winning the first main without any problems, while 2nd & 3rd was between a local driver name Chen Rui Yong & Fai Ho from Hong Kong both of which were driving the new Serpent S411 chassis.

In the 2nd main, The Hong Kong driver Fai Ho stepped up his game, took a charge and was able to get by Felix Law, setting up a race long battle between the pair. At the 3 minute mark, the two touched with Felix coming off worse, dropping him down to 4th place. However in the last minute of the race, Felix was able to catch up to Fai Ho and put an impressive pass for 1st & win the race.

In the 3rd main, Felix Law once again dominated the main by lapping the field. The battle for 2nd was between the local Chinese driver Chen Rui Yong & Hong Kong Driver Fai Ho. Both Serpents were fast, but Fai Ho had a battery tape issue and had to retire, leaving the Chinese driver Chen Rui Yong to take the overall 2nd place & Fai Ho the overall 3rd in the electric side of the FT Cup.
