JJ Wang wins Beijing Invitational Race

The Chinese government held the first annual Beijing International RC Invitational race recently in Beijing and it was the largest race in China’s R/C history. Overall 100 drivers in two classes EP and GP raced on a world-class racetrack built specially for this event. The government invited many renowned drivers from around the world including former world champions. Novarossi team driver JJ Wang drove his Novarossi powered Mugen MTX5 to win the GP championship on a damp track caused by light rain during the final day. Shepherd driver Ronald Volker came in second with Kyosho’s Takaaki Shimo taking third.
