Ryan Maifield wins Pro4 at Reedy Truck race

The 2011 Reedy Truck race was back at Hot Rod Hobbies with a full cast of the nation’s hottest truck racers ready to do battle in 3 different classes of competition. Ryan Maifield struck quickly in the Expert Pro 2 class taking the TQ honors after just 2 rounds of qualifying. Ryan ran his ROAR National Championship setup of Hi-Flow body, Bar Codes tires and Hazard +3 wheels on the Factory Team SC10. Jared Tebo Qualified 2nd and Ryan Cavalieri 3rd.

Expert Pro 4 A1 started with Cavalieri grabbing the early lead but a bobble going down the step-downs allowed Maifield to squeak by and into the lead. Maifield took a huge lead and hammered down on the competition all the way to the finish taking A1 in style. Cavalieri finished 2nd and Dakota Phend 3rd. A2 began somewhat similar with the Ryan’s doing damage in the early going. Maifield once again emerged out front and led the field in the opening minutes. Maifield was too hot to handle in this class and ran away from the field earning his 1st overall win of the day. Ryan Cavalieri finished 2nd and Dakota Phend 3rd. A3 would be a battle for 2nd place between Ryan Cavalieri and Dakota Phend. Dakota used a good start to stay out front and clean, taking the A3 victory. The final finishing order, Ryan Maifield 1st, Dakota Phend 2nd and Ryan Cavalieri 3rd. Ryan Maifield’s SC10 4×4 was fitted with JConcepts Hi-Flow body, JConcepts tires in green compound, Hazard +3mm wheels, profiled closed cell inserts and 4mm serrated wheel nuts.
