Randy Pike joins KO Propo team

Randy Pike joins KO Propo team

Team Tekin’s Product Research/Team Manager Randy Pike has joined the KO Factory Team. With Randy’s background in testing for Team Tekin’s products, he needed something reliable and the newest technology to use as a test bed. His choice was KO’s EX-10 Eurus D.D.S. with the new FHSS system and RSx servos. Randy had this to say:

After trying many radio systems and servos from various manufacturers I have found the choice for me to be KO PROPO. The level of comfort and control the KO Propo Eurus and DDS FH 2.4 hopping system is like none I’ve tried in the past. Coupled with the smooth and powerful RSX Response servos mean I can focus on other parts of my racing and forget about my control system. Testing the latest equipment day in and day out means I must have reliability with my radio system at all times.

Team Durango DEX408 1/8th BL buggy

Team Durango DEX408 1/8th BL buggy

Having brought you some teaser and prototype shots of the new brushless Durango 1/8th scale, the company have today released the complete details on the DEX408. It has been specifically designed for this class with careful consideration of the electric-specific weight distribution requirements, the DEX408 makes no compromises. In order to achieve optimum weight distribution (with a near perfect 50/50 front-to-rear), they kept the chassis narrow, whilst allowing enough room for many of today’s most popular electrics and electronics. With a narrow chassis design, the DEX408 is nimble like its smaller DEX410 cousin, and it is easy to wrench-on in-between races. The ESC has been centrally positioned on its own composite platform, opposite which is a smaller platform for your Personal Transponder. Specially designed hook-and-loop straps secure the batteries to the chassis via the all-new composite side rails. Easy-access front and rear differentials are retained from the DEX408s nitro brother (DNX408), as are the race-proven wishbones and shock absorbers while the composite spur gear cover has a dedicated clip to hold motor and ESC wires tidily.
