Thunder Alley GRRS – Announcement

Thunder Alley GRRS - Announcement

Thunder Alley RC Raceway got in touch to tell us that the GRRS (Grass Roots Racing Series) is in its 3rd year and with the great success last year, with average attendance of 160 entries per event, they have made some tweaks to please the racers and make the race days more enjoyable. Saturday dates will be ran with only Short Course trucks & buggies racing, while Sundays will be the Nitro classes & 1/8 E-Buggy racing. Doing this will shorten up each race day and allow for some added skill levels & classes on both days

You can expect the same great end of series giveaways along with some prizes throughout the series. TLR and Byron’s fuel are already on board as event sponsors with more to come. Byron has added this to their contingency program and will have cash payouts for the top podium spots for the overall Series winners in each Nitro Class.

Also added in 2012 by popular demand will be the Summer Heat Series. This series will be structured the same as the GRRS but will only travel between HCR and TA. Same race day format with SC and Nitro run on different days to help shorten the day at the track.
