Orlowski is double Polish Indoor buggy champion

Last weekend saw the Polish Indoor Off-Road Championships, organized by OSM on behalf of the Polish Model Car Federation, LOK and the event attracted 50 racers in 4 classes, Modified 2WD, Modified 4WD, Junior 2WD and 4WD. The race was run at the Arena Legionowo where ETS Rd3 in 2011 season took place. The 2 days event was organized in a comfortable format for the drivers and mechanics with half a day 2WD and half a day 4WD which allowed many drivers to race in both 2WD and 4WD classes.

In Modified 2WD class the winner was TQ and Team Tamiya Poland driver Michal Orlowski, driving Tamiya TRF201. Second place went to Artur Kramza (TA B4.1) followed by Michal’s team mate Piotr Okonski (TRF201).

In Modified 4WD class the championship title went again to TQ Michal Orlowski, driving Tamiya TRF511. The vice championship title went to Damian Zalewski, driving a B44.1 followed by Artur Kramża also with a B44.1 driver. Terrible luck for Piotr Okonski, former 4WD champion and Team Tamiya Poland driver. Due to technical problems with his TRF511, he was only able to finish one practice heat on Saturday, and could not finish any more heats.

In the 2WD junior class with Tamiya DT-02 chassis, the championship title went to Pawel Trella, with Kacper Swat in second and Adam Szymborski in the third place.

In the 4WD junior class with Tamiya DB-01 chassis, the championship title went to Pawel Staszewski, with Bartek Zambrzycki in second and Sebastian Migal the third place.
