CJ Weaver wins Canadian Off-Road Shootout

This past weekend the 6th Annual Canadian Off-Road Shootout took place in Ontario, Canada. The three-day event gathered racers from across Canada and the United States. The 259 entries consisted of 90 nitro buggies, 48 nitro trucks, 77 E-Scales, and 44 short course trucks. The nitro buggy class was definitely the most competitive and anticipated race of the weekend. CJ Weaver was able to put himself comfortably in the A-Main event qualifying 6th on the starting grid. He got off to a great start and immediately moved up a few spots into 2nd place. As the race progressed, CJ slowly started to catch the leader. With just 5 minutes to go, he was only a few seconds behind 1st place. With consistent fast laps he was able to catch and eventually pass the leader for the overall win with his Novarossi powered XB9 equipped with JConcepts Green Hybrids mounted on Inverse wheels and a JConcepts Punisher wing.
