Badgerland Offroad Championship report

Last weekend marked the first annual Badgerland Offroad Championship, a 2 day event held at 2 tracks in Wisconsin. Day one at Clark RC Park had exciting racing all day long with day 2 going over to MARCCA for even more intense battles. Nitro Truggy was a battle between Serpent drivers Jeremy Whiting and Jimbo Kvidera that ended with a tie breaker. Day one was all Jeremy Whiting with Day 2 going to Jimbo taking the overall title. Brad Shearer driving a Team Associated RC8T kept it cool to take home the number 3 spot.

Nitro Buggy was just as exciting as Jimbo Kvidera and Zac Rose trading the top spot often in a fight to see who would take the Nitro Buggy class. Jimbo’s Serpent Buggy took the honors with Zac Rose driving a Losi 8ight following closely and Kevin Tomsovic rounding out the top 3.

ETruggy was dominated by Walt Zweifels Team Associated RC8T winning both days giving him the top spot overall. 2nd place went to Bob Hommen and 3rd Greg Schultz both driving Associated’s.

EBuggy was a thrilling battle between the Associated’s of local Daryl Frank and LiveRC’s Brandon Rohde. Brandon TQ’d day one but Daryl Frank took the win leaving Brandon to settle win a 2nd place finish. Day two belonged to Daryl Frank taking the TQ spot and the win securing his place on top of the podium. Brandon Rohde took home 2nd place and Jake Cook 3rd. Both tracks provided a great racing environment and everyone had a great time.
