Lee Martin wins at BRCA nationals

The first round of the BRCA 1/8th off-road nationals took place at the dirt track of the HNMC. Day two kicked off cold and dry and gave perfect conditions for the drivers. Kyosho’s Elliott Booth took TQ after the qualifiers but dropped out in the semis due to problems as did Team Associated’s Neil Cragg. The A final saw a great battle between Mugen driver Lee Martin and TLR’s Darren Bloomfield for the whole 45 minutes. Every time Bloomfield caught Martin he was forced into errors letting him drop back again. At the end it was Lee who took the race win in front of Darren Bloomfield and Simon Willetts. Jack Embling won the Junior category with Oliver Curry taking the runner-up spot. The third place went to Callun Niblet.
