VRC Pro is now 100% Free-to-Play

VRC Pro is now 100% Free-to-Play

On June 1st Virtual Racing Industries introduced a major change in its membership model. Thanks to feedback from the VRC Pro community, a much simpler, much more attractive membership model has been introduced for all levels of players and racers, Free-to-Play and All-Inclusive.

Free-to-Play (F2P)
This new membership replaces the old Trial and Lite memberships, and basically gives the racer 8 tracks (incl. 3x off-road) and 5 cars (incl. short course), for unlimited time and totally free. Extra tracks, cars and other content, can still be purchased as before.

All-Inclusive Membership
This membership replaces the old Full membership and offers access to all content: tracks, chassis, components, now and all future releases. As long as the member has a valid All-inclusive membership subscription he or she can enjoy everything VRC Pro has to offer. All inclusive memberships are offered for 1, 3, 6, 12 and 24 months periods, the longer the period the cheaper the subscription.

Unlimited All-Inclusive Membership
The premium membership option is unlimited All-inclusive, which offers life-time access to all the game features and content, including all upgrades and new introductions, for unlimited time!

Fall back to Free-to-Play
When the all-inclusive membership expires the member will be reverted to the Free-to-Play account, so he or she can continue to enjoy VRC Pro with the basic Free-to-Play content, including all content that may have purchased as a Free-to-Play member. F2P members can also purchase extra content (tracks, cars and components).

The new memberships open VRC Pro up for everybody who wants to try out VRC Pro for a shorter or longer period, for r/c enthusiasts and racers who want to use VRC Pro occasionally without having to commit to a long membership subscription, and last but not least, for die-hard virtual and real r/c racers who want to be able to practice and race in any class, on any track, at any time without having to spend any more money on cars and tracks in the future. With the introducing of the new membership model, VRC Pro developer Virtual Racing Industries expects the membership to grow exponentially and is targeting 100.000 members by the end of 2013.
