Mustafa Alp wins TC Modified and Stock at TTS Rd4

The fourth round of the TTS was held at the newly build electric on-road track of İMOP, located in the centre of a park making for a good racing atmosphere and lots of audience. The track itself is very technical with a 20 metre long sweeper just before the main straight. Open practice started on Friday followed by five controlled practice rounds on Saturday. Both the touring Modified and Stock class was TQ’d by Serpent’s Mustafa Alp followed by Erol and Serpent driver Ahmet Tekelioglu in the Modified class and Murat Çağış as well as Akın Gürsoy in Stock.

The Modified A finals saw Mustafa winning leg 1 and 2, taking the early win  and sitting out leg 3 to have the drivers behind him battle for the remaining podium positions. After a chaotic third A final Ahmet Tekelioğlu (Serpent) took the runner up spot behind Mustafa thanks to winning the heat. The Stock A finals were again a clean sweep for Mustafa who took the first and second final allowing him to sit out the third main. As in Modified the start of the third Stock A final was a big mess and this time race controller Serdar Aytemiz had to restart the final due to the carnage on track. The second start was much cleaner and race was on between Can, Çağhan, Yiğit and Murat. Murat was the early leader when he made a huge mistake and fell back to fourth. From there, Can (Serpent) lead the race handing him the runner-up spot.
