Trin T. & Meen V. win at Malaysia KL International GP

140 drivers found their way to the 2013 Malaysia KL International GP held at the KLIRCC track. The nitro on-road race was run in 1/8th and 1/10th 200mm and saw the attendance many fast drivers with the most prominent of them being current 200mm World Champion Meen V. who raced both the 1/8th and 1/10h class. The 1/8th qualifying was won by Meen who outperformed his competitors by nearly a lap in his best 7 minutes run. He was followed by his KM team mates Charlee P. and Azri Amri. Bad luck and a DNF in the final prevented Meen from turning his TQ position into a win and he ended in 10th place with Trin T. (KM Racing) winning the race with the KM K8 prototype in front of Azri Amri and Nick Chong.

In the 1/10th 200mm class Meen was on top of the time sheets, again chased by team mate Charlee P. and Azri Amri. The one hour final was a close affair as was the qualifying. At the end Meen V. was able to conserve his position only two laps in front of his KM team mates Azri Amri and Trin T. who was only another lap down.
