The organisers of the Bangkok International RC Car Championship got in touch to tell us that this event will take place on the weekend of the 1st of December in Bangkok, Thailand. The race is the first international event to be run on the new ‘Huge RC’ track built by former World Champion Surikarn C., the next being the TITC next February, with this amazing facility being fully covered and sporting a large asphalt track as well as lots of pitting space. Expected to attract top racers from Europe and around Asia, the event will be open to several 1/10th and 1/12th on-road classes including Touring Car Modified, 13.5T boosted, 13.5T blinky and 17.5T blinky, FWD, Mini, F1 rubber and foam as well as a 1/12th pan car class. More information about the BIRC, which will see Scotty Ernst on the microphone, can be found here.
