New Serpent SRX2 option parts

Serpent have new option parts for the Spyder SRX2 buggy available in the form of aluminium steering parts, vented slipper plates, titanium-nitride coated suspension pins and carbide differential balls. Starting with the steering parts, first up is the steering rack set that is CNC-machined from high quality aluminium. The grey-colour parts make for a flex-free and super-precise steering and included in the kit are two bellcranks and the steering link. The assembly uses the original ball races that come with the buggy kit. Next up are aluminium servo mounts, designed to replace the stock plastic parts the mounts come pre-threaded and grey anodised to fit the remainder of the option parts. Like the steering rack kit the mounts are made to assist with rock solid handling even on high grip surfaces.

Also new are the vented slipper plates, parts with additional venting holes to get excessive heat away from the slipper pads. The parts are ideal when running low-turn modified motors on high-grip surfaces. The aluminium parts come hard anodised and as 3-piece set. Another option for the drivetrain is the 12-piece set of ultra-hard carbide differential balls. They make for super smooth diff action and longer diff maintenance intervals. Last but not least are three sets of front outer and inner as well as rear inner suspension shafts. The pins are made from high quality steel and come titanium-nitride coated for smooth suspension movement over a long time while the hard-wearing surface also makes the shafts less prone to scratch. All parts will become available in December.
