Ek & Malkusson win at MSEC Race Rd7

Round number 7 of the 2013/14 MESC Race was held in Smedjebacken by the recently founded Bärke RBK club. In the Touring Car Modified class Thomas Ek took the pole position by taking TQ in the last qualifier while Kenneth Malkusson (Schumacher) put his car on the first spot in the Stock class. Thomas later took quite an easy win from his Xray teammates Magnus Hedqvist and Marcus Söberg.

The Stock class had a bit more excitement to offer. In the first final Thomas Ek (Xray) made a small mistake in the beginning allowing Kristoffer Axelsson (Xray) to pass him. Later Kenneth and Thomas managed to squeeze by when Kenneth and Kristoffer made a mistake. A final-lap error of Thomas than let Kenneth take the win in the first A-final. In the second final Kenneth and Thomas again quickly separated from the rest of the field and had a super tight race for the entire 5 minutes. Thomas was slightly faster but being the ice cold driver he is Kenneth never allowed him to pass and therefore he took the win in A2 also, despite a final corner move from Thomas. A3 was pretty much a blueprint of the second leg with Kenneth and Thomas being separated after 5 minutes by only 0.1s. This meant the overall win for Kenneth in front of Thomas and Kristoffer.
