Kyosho Scorpion B-XXL VE & Nitro ReadySet kit

Kyosho Scorpion B-XXL VE & Nitro

Seen for the first time at this year’s Nuremberg Toyfair and available now is Kyosho’s gnarly looking Scorpion B-XXL VE 2WD large scale buggy. The 640mm long vehicle is based off the Scorpion XXL dune buggy and features a 3mm aluminium chassis with sturdy, reinforcing side frames, long A-arms with large volume oil-filled shock absorbers, adjustable suspension components, and a fully ball-raced drivetrain with adjustable slipper clutch and fluid-filled gear differential. The buggy is powered by a genuine Team Orion drive set in the form of a water-protected Vortex XXL brushless speed controller and a Vortex Seven Monster brushless motor. The factory assembled buggy also comes with a KT-201 2.4GHz radio system, pre-installed high-performance steering servo, pre-finished buggy body with inner mud and splash guards as well as grippy off-road tyres on headlock rims. Not included is a 4S LiPo battery pack, batteries for the radio and a charger. From April the vehicle also comes in a nitro-powered version with a 5.4cc engine and a large volume 200ml fuel tank that allows for a running time of around 15 minutes per tank.
