New Picco Torque X-Type .21 & .12 engines

Italian company Picco have two new on-road nitro engines available in the form of the Torque .21 X-Type Cer World and the Torque .12 X-Type S EdoMod. Starting with the 1/8th scale engine, the power plant features a long stroke design for further increased low and mid-range acceleration with the components having received the attention of Edoardo Picco to extract as much performance as possible from the 3.5cc engine. Other features include a 14mm Turbo crankshaft with silicone insert, an aligned knife edged conrod and a hand-finished chrom-plated brass liner. A modified backplate improves fuel flow and the piston made from high percentage silicone alloy billet further increases the performance. Last but not least the engine comes with a Swiss-quality ceramic main bearing and 8mm and 9mm venturi inserts.

The second new engine is the Torque Edomod X-Type S .12. The touring car engine comes with a redesigned ABC liner and new combustion chamber insert. The Edoardo Picco modified parts increase performance while making for exceptional fuel consumption. The engine comes with a silicone-filled and balanced 12mm Turbo crankshaft, an aerodynamically shaped conrod, hand-finished liner, lightened piston and a finned Turbo combustion chamber insert for improved heat dissipation. Other features include a hand-modified backplate, 12mm Swiss-quality main bearing and a 5.4mm venturi insert.
