Xray Challenge Moravia & Slovakia Cup Rd6 – Report

After a month-long break the final round of the Xray Challenge Moravia & Slovakia Cup took place at the Hudy Racing Arena last weekend. Again all seven categories including Touring Car and Buggy classes where run. As usual the meeting started on Friday with free practice while the qualifiers and finals where run on Saturday. The off-road race took place on the same track as the EOS round two weeks before and had Martin Bayer walking away with the win in the 2WD class. Martin and Juraj Hudy completed the podium for an Xray XB4 2WD 1-2-3.

The same three gentlemen then also fought for the win in the 4WD class and at the end Martin Bayer put himself on the top of the podium, again with Martin and Juraj Hudy in tow.

Swinging over to the on-road classes Martin Hudy ended a successful weekend on top of the Touring Car Modified class. He left his Xray team mates Tomas Liptak and Adam Janovic behind while Karel Kratochvil and Roman Korinek completed the top 5 result.

In Touring Car 17.5T Stock Vagac Brano Molec came in 1st followed by Milan Krecek and Mirek Novak who made for an Xray 1-2-3 in this class.

In the Stock 21.5T Touring class it was Lacko Toth who ended the finals sitting in 1st place. Branislav Panak and Ladislav Toth filled up the remaining podium spots.

And last but not least in the World GT class, Igor Liptak dominated the field, Sveto Spalek and Vlastimil Atovic came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.
