Christophe Pethoud wins Swiss 1/8th champs Rd3

The 3rd round of the Swiss 1/8th nitro on-road championship was run at the famous Lostallo track. The qualifiers where held in sunny and hot conditions making for some tight racing. As usual on the fast track fuel consumption was critical and some drivers, like Christophe Pethoud, had to refuel in the final lap. After qualifying Remy Hasler (Mugen/Picco) took TQ followed by Claudio Pasquin (Xray/Picco) and Renato Ali (Mugen/Picco).

In the 45 minute final, Christophe Pethoud was able to make the most out of the challenging track conditions as the final started wet and ended on a dry track. Behind Christophe Noah Asendorf finished 2nd, Roland Stalder completed the podium in 3rd.
