Mon-Tech M-10 200mm pan car bodyshell

New from Italian company Mon-Tech Racing is the M-10 bodyshell for 200mm pan cars. Moulded in strong 0.75mm polycarbonate the body offers a sleek and aggressive look for 1/10th World GT kits. Unlike some other bodies the rear wing is not part of the mould but mounted to two domes creating a dual rear wing design that does not slow down the airflow while producing a good amount of rear downforce. Included with the body come window masks, a decal sheet and mounting hardware for the rear wing.

Max Airbrush 8ight 3.0 Magma bodyshell

Italian company Max Airbrush introduce the Magma design bodyshell for TLR’s 8ight 3.0 buggy. Made from genuine Lexan material the body adapts the unique look of the MP9-specific Magma in order to create a new look for the 8ight 3.0 buggy. Both material and shape ensure a good amount of robustness while a special shape around the engine’s cooling area provided sufficient cooling.

Dominic Greiner joins Max Power

Dominic Greiner joins Max Power

Sprint RC announce the signing of German front runner Dominic Greiner to run Max Power engines for the remainder of this season and during his 2015 campaign. The Serpent driver will use the engines from the 4th and final ENS round in Fiorano on and Dominic, who will also compete at the IFMAR 200mm World in Thailand, has the following to say:

I would like to thank Picco for the help during the past two years and I look forward to further improve my racing with the help of the Max Power engines.

Matias & Coelho win at Portuguese buggy nats Rd3

The 3rd round of the Portuguese 1/10th Electric Off–road national championship was held last weekend. In the 2WD class Xray’s Miguel Matias made a clean sweep by winning all qualifying rounds and also the finals to take the day’s win and with it the national championship title thanks to his success at the previous two rounds. Behind him Nuno Roque (Team Durango) ended the 3rd round on the runner–up spot whole Marco Timoteo (GR Proto) completed the podium in 3rd.

From VBC Racing for their new Firebolt DM buggy are a new carbon fibre main chassis, an aluminium steering rack and front and rear aluminium wheel hexes. The chassis is made from 2.5mm carbon fibre and made to give the buggy different torsional flex characteristics that can be helpful in lower bite conditions. It is also lighter which can be beneficial especially in Stock racing classes.

Abisset & Cesar take French 1/8th on-road titles

Last weekend saw the running of the 5th round of the French 1/8th nitro on-road championship in Grenoble. After a successful racing Summer European B champion Anthony Abisset (Serpent/Racing Experience) took the overall title in the Elite class while Anthony’s teammate Ludovic Cesar (Serpent/Racing Experience) came out successful on his home track to take the title in the National class.

David Perez wins at Spanish TC nats Rd3

The 3rd round of the Spanish Electric Touring Car nationals took place in Telde, Gran Canaria. The race started with practice on Friday while four out of six qualifying rounds were run on Saturday. David Perez (Xray) was the man to beat during the weekend as he TQ’d all four rounds on Saturday and he also took the two remaining rounds on Sunday to grab the overall TQ for the finals. In the following A-mains David was on a mission again, sweeping all three legs to take the overall win and also the lead in the national championship. Toni Rheinard (Yokomo) ended the race in 2nd place while John Hernandez (Yokomo) rounded out the podium in 3rd.
