Georgiadis takes Greek National Touring Car title

The final round of the Greek Electric Touring Car nationals was held at the Zorri track in Athens. Going into the final round three drivers were tie on points and able to take the overall championship. Right from the start of the qualification Georgiades made his intentions clear as he won two out of the five qualifiers and nobody else came close to the times he set.

The finals then were a two men show with Georgiades and Doucakis battling for the win. The first A-main was very close with the two drivers being separated by only 1.1 seconds and the win in the opening A brought Georgiadis closer to another championship title. The second leg again had intense racing and lots of fair play from both contenders to offer. The win for Georgiadis meant that Nikos took his fourth championship in a row. John then asked Nikos to also race the third and final A-main for fun and show and it was again Georgiades who took the win for a clean sweep.
