TOP Elite nitro off-road & on-road engines

New from Novarossi comes the 2015 Elite range of TOP engines for off-road and on-road applications. Starting with the top-of-the-foodchain Elite 8 Off Road, the engine is of a long stroke design and features an 8-port sleeve. Coming with a turbo glowplug combustion camber insert and 14mm turbo crankshaft the engine is available with standard steel or high-quality ceramic ball bearings.

Elite 8 Off Road specifications:
– Displacement: 3.49cc
– RPM (max power): 36,800 RPM
– Bore x stroke: 16.26×16.80mm
– Sleeve: 8 ports
– Rear ball bearings: steel
– Front ball bearings: steel
– Crankshaft: 14mm – turbo

Also new is the Elite 5 Off Road, the little brother of the Elite 8 with a 5-port sleeve and lower peak RPM but the same features such as a 14mm turbo crankshaft, a 9mm composite carburettor and turbo combustion camber insert. The engine is available with standard steel or ceramic bearings.

For the on-road side of things Top have the Elite 9 On Road and the Elite 7 On Road available, long stroke engines with 9 and 7-port sleeves. Both feature 9mm aluminium carburettors, 14mm turbo crankshafts and they come with steel or ceramic ball races. Last but not last and made for 1/10th on-road cars are the Elite.12R and Elite.12. Both offer the same specifications, 11.9mm turbo crankshafts, 6.5mm aluminium carburettors, 3-port sleeves, but the .12R is the slightly speedier variant with a higher peak RPM. Like all other 2015 Top engines the Elite.12’s are available with steel or ceramic ball races.
