Dutch 1/8th Nitro On-road Nationals Rd1 – Report
The opening round of the Dutch 1/8th Nitro On-road National Championship was held last weekend at the Real 80 track in Groningen in the North of the Netherlands. The weekend started with free practice on Friday which resumed on Saturday but unfortunately changing weather conditions with some very light rain made for difficult track conditions and a lot of uncertainties in terms of the setup. However on Sunday the weather changed to the better and the race would start as planned. In the 30-minute final of the premier NK class Martin Zevenhoven (Serpent) came out successful from Ad Vissenberg (ARC) and Marcel Schouten who rounded out the podium in 3rd.

In the Promo class Jesse Keller, driving a Mugen, ended the 30 minute final with a 1-lap margin on Stephan van Rooijen (ARC). Janwillem Gons (Serpent) in 3rd ended the final another 2 laps down.
