HNS Austria Rd1 – Report

Last weekend the opening round of the HNS was held at the AMC Tirol track in the three on-road classes of 1/8th Nitro, 1/8th Electric and 1/10th 200mm. Nice weather, good food and a relaxed atmosphere made for a fun weekend and in the 1/8th nitro class it was Michael Klausner (Serpent/Picco) who came out successful in front of Gerhard Kapferer (Mugen/OS) and Rene Doktor (Capricorn/Reds).

In 1/8th electric it was Christoph Pietsch (Mugen/TTB) who grabbed the win from Michael Selner (Serpent/TTB) and Michael Klausner sen. (Serpent/Traxxas). Finally in the 1/10th nitro category Ralph Winkler (Xray/Novarossi) took the day’s win from Christian Wuntschek (Serpent/Novarossi) and Werner Pirchner (Xray/Novarossi) in 2nd and 3rd respectively. Round 2 of the series will be held at the high-speed track of the MRC Frühwirth in September.
