Belgian SCT Cup Rd4 – Report

Buggy Racing Tournai Club organized the 4th round of the Belgian SCT Cup as part of Enghien’s RC show. With a visitor attendance of almost 5000 people, national TV coverage and great weather, this event was a great opportunity to show and share the hobby. Facilities offered by the club have never been better than this year, and the purpose-built grass track is the biggest ever built there with a pretty technical layout that was appreciated by all drivers. In Pro2 qualification, Nicolas Evens (TLR 22SCT) TQ’d the first 2 qualification rounds ahead of Laurent Halluin (Associated SC10) and Philippe Hautecoeur (Associated SC10). Laurent took the last round, ahead of Philippe, while behind them, Julian André (TLR 22SCT) and newcomer Frédéric De Conchy (TLR 22SCT) had a close battle for 4th position on the grid.

In second round Nicolas pulls away and wins with a good margin over Laurent and Philippe who have a very close and clean battle appreciated by the crowd.
