VRC Pro goes 1/8th E-Buggy

The long-awaited 1/8th scale E-Buggy class will be available for VRC Pro from October 30th on. The release package includes a Spec and a Modified version of the chassis with the Spec buggy having very limited adjustability and it utilises a modest 1450kV motor while the Modified buggy is fully adjustable including suspension and steering geometry, weight distribution, shocks, anti-roll bars, and diffs. The new EX8-R chassis is powered by a choice of Tekin T8 motors ranging from 1900kV to an extreme 2650kV, in combination with the Tekin RX8 speed controller. 4S 14.8V LiPo battery packs allow for runtimes of 10 to 15 minutes. VRC Pro all-inclusive members will enjoy a 2-week exclusive access period before the regular Free2Play members will be able to buy the electric 1/8th buggy expansion pack from the VRC Pro e-shop. The Spec version will be available to all members immediately. The new class will be part of the 2015 VRC Worlds which start November 28th.
