New from JTP RC, the brand of 2013 IFMAR 2WD Buggy World Champion Jared Tebo, come the Race Series Carbon parts for the Kyosho RB6 and ZX6. Starting with the 2WD parts, available are a front and rear shock tower with the front shock stay giving improved front end feeling through the corners and over obstacles by increasing uptravel. On top of this the 4mm material gives better strength and a more connected feeling of the car. The shock tower was designed for the use with the long LA43 shock ends.
The rear RB6 shock tower mimics the stock suspension geometry but relocated wing mounting positions result in a higher wing which gives multiple advantages such as more consistent traction in all racing conditions and better wing clearance. Swinging over to the ZX6 parts available are 4mm front and rear shock towers that match the stock suspension geometry with the three outside shock positions and the preferred wing mounting position. The rigid 4mm carbon material will add strength and makes for a more “connected” feel to the car. Made to replace the standard composite part are a 2.5mm and a 4mm chassis stiffener with the different parts change the flex characteristics of the buggy. The thinner 2.5mm brace is best used on low to high-traction dirt tracks while the thicker 4mm part is ideal for high-traction carpet and astro turf tracks. Last but not least comes a 2.5mm shorty battery strap that adds both visual impact and overall rigidity. The parts are available now through JTP RC’s own webshop.
