In the 1/10th scale class Patrick Schäfer was the man to beat. In his fastest qualifying he also set a new lap record and claimed the pole position in front of Wong Wei Kei and Ho Fai. At the start of the final a small collision between Wong Wei Kei and Patrick mixed up the field, but around the 7 minute mark Patrick was back at the front keeping the lead for the rest of the 45 minute encounter. He took the victory in front of Choi Kam Man and Ho Fai.

Simon Kurzbuch also competed in the 1/8th GT short class and showed a blistering performance during qualifying. With a gap of more than one lap on the second placed driver he took the pole position for the main final setting another lap record. Unfortunately technical issues forced him to retire early in the main final and so after 45 minutes it was Cheung Kwok Wai who took the victory in front of Samel Chiu and Harmony Lam.
