Kwok Wai takes RTR class win at Serpent GT Cup Rd1

The opening round of the Asian Serpent GT Cup was held at the TRC track in Hong Kong. The event attracted some 65 drivers, most of which signed in for the highly competitive RTR class and it was Sui Ming who would grab the TQ honours in this respective category. The 40 minute main final was a different affair though as Kwok Wai was able to open a gap on the field to take a commanding win. Behind him, Yuk Ming, Chun and TQ Siu Ming battled for the runner-up spot with the better end for Chun who managed to bring home a second place finish some 5 seconds in front of Sui Ming who rounded out the top 3 result.

In the Open class Nelson Woo would dominate the qualifiers and also the finals, the latter with a 2-laps margin on runner-up, Picco Lok. Ben Lau finished in third, another two laps down.
