The 8th annual Pro-Line Gas Champs were held this past weekend at the Pro-Line test track in Banning, California. As usual the event attracted some of the country’s fastest drivers including prominent guests from abroad, such as Sweden’s David Ronnefalk. The 2-day event saw three rounds of heads up qualifying on Saturday and the mains on Sunday and in the premier Nitro Buggy class it was Tekno’s Ryan Lutz who took the TQ and winning honours, leaving HB’s David Ronnefalk and Tekno RC’s Joe Bornhorst behind in second and third respectively.

1/8th Nitro Truggy again had Ryan Lutz dominating the proceedings with a TQ and win, this time in front of Tekno RC teammates Joe Bornhorst in second and Billy Fischer in third. Finally in the 1/8th E-Buggy class, David Ronnefalk (HB) would deny Ryan Lutz a title trifecta by coming out successful from Joe Bornhorst (Tekno RC) while TQ holder Ryan Lutz (Tekno RC) had to settle for third.
