Active Hobby YD-4 alloy steering rack & other optionals

Coming from Active Hobby Products and made for the Yokomo YD-4 drift kit are three new option parts in the form of an alloy steering rack, a composite rack arm set and a body mount bar. Starting with the aluminium steering rack, the part is CNC-machined from 7075 aluminium and it makes for improved steering precision while being very light of weight at the same time. The rack comes laser-etched for looks and it is available in a range of colours including black, silver, hard anodising and also dark blue and red.

Also new is the composite steering rack arm set. It includes aluminium brackets for the steering rack, carbon fibre Ackermann plates and mounting hardware and its design widens the setup window while also adding a factory look. The set is usable with the standard kit rack and also Active’s optional alloy steering rack. Last but not least are the alloy body post bars for the YD-4 that make for a more rigid body mounting when needed. The alloy parts come in black, silver, dark blue and red anodising and they are available separately for the front and the rear body mounts.
