Bima Racing Track On–road Touring Champs – Report

The Colombian Electric On-Road regional championship recently concluded, with all the seven rounds, run from January to May, being held at the well-known Bima Racing Track in the capital city of Bogota. After the seven rounds, Andres Chaparro (Tamiya) would walk away with the title in Touring Superstock 10.5T, showing consistent performances over the season. Jorge Rodriguez (Xray) took the vice–championship title and Alejandro Marulanda (Xray) would manage the final podium spot from Leonardo Buitrago (Tamiya) in fourth.

The 1/10 Formula 21.5T class was clearly dominated by Jorge Rodriguez (Xray), with Alejandro Marulanda (Xray) taking the runner-up spot and Ricardo Hoyos (Tamiya) grabbing the final podium position.

In 1/10 Nitro Touring there was a great battle between Fernando Herrera, Orlando Vargas, Andres Castañeda, Luis Edurado Mora and Rodrigo Echeverry all the season long. Finally it was Luis Eduardo Mora (Xray) who managed to win the championship title.

Ricardo Guzman dominated the Rookies GT Touring 1/10 season with his Tamiya TT02 taking the championship with one race to spare. There was a tight battle for the remaining podium position with the vice–champion title eventually going to Julio Witingam, and Luis Carlos Correa in 3rd position both driving their Vaterras.
