Conley, Collymore & Hardman win at Midwest Series Rd1

The first of six races for the Midwest Series kicked off in Toledo, Ohio, home of the One Eighth Racers of Toledo. The track was setup for a little practice on Friday but Saturday saw a little rain in the morning. The track crew did a great job with getting the track ready to go and with extended practice the race would cut out a qualifier. In 1/8th Open Ted Hammer (Shepherd) would take the TQ while in 200mm Sedan Diatta Collymore (Xray)came out fastest after the qualifiers.

In the 30-minute 1/8th A-main it then was Jason Conley (Xray) who came out fastest while Rick Davis (Serpent) had to settle for second. Drew Ellis (Xray) completed the top 3 result.

In 1/10th 200mm TQ holder Diatta Collymore came out fastest from Shepherd driver Ted Hammer while Xray’s Tom Esposito rounded out the top 3.

Finally in 1/10th Electric Andrew Hardman (Yokomo) grabbed the win from TQ Tom Esposito (Xray) while Ted Hammer (Xray) ended the day on the three spot.
