Quentin Leroux takes French 200mm Championship

Round four of the French 200mm National Championship was held in sunny weather conditions and hot temperatures. Going into the penultimate round, Quentin Leroux and Basile Concialdi both were in the position to grab the overall win early with a second place being good enough for Quentin to take the title. The qualifiers were run in a best of three consecutive laps mode and the opening qualifier went to Basile with a 52.65s in front of Quentin with a 52.95s. Following some setup changes Quentin was able to better his time to a 51.92s, also setting a new track record with a 17.31s. Q3 then held no improvements as a slower track allowed Quentin to grab the overall TQ from Basile who was followed by Nicolas Bougnoteau and Michael Derderian.

In the semi finals the standings remained pretty much unchanged with Quentin grabbing the pole position for the A-main from Basile and Thomas.

Ultimately Quentin would bring home the win from Basile and Thomas. With the win Quentin also grabbed the overall title with one round to spare.
