Tanner Denney becomes Grand Champion at U.S. Open

The 2016 U.S. Open Fuel Championships were held this past weekend at Fear Farm Raceway in Phoenix, Arizona. TLR’s Tanner Denney would take the combined Grand Championship after ending the mains day sitting in third overall in the E-Buggy class and coming in second in Nitro Truggy. In Pro Buggy with the rain coming down hard during both semis, Tanner ended up starting TQ by just 1 second and with the mains being called he got the overall win in Buggy and with it the Grand Championship in front of Tekno’s Joe Bornhorst.
