Infinity have introduced new optional parts for their 1/8th nitro on-road car. First up is a 5mm chassis conversion kit that will improve the car’s handling and traction on low-grip tracks. While being 1mm thinner than the kit chassis the 5mm variant also offers a 1mm longer wheelbase and it comes including all needed parts such as a new side belt, an updated carbon belt tensioner and mounting hardware.
Also new are an aluminium servo saver with adjustable Ackermann settings, a soft carbon battery plate with additional cut-outs for improved torsional flex on low-grip tracks, and the carbon fibre belt tensioner, that is part of the 5mm chassis conversion, is also available separately. It offers an increased adjustment range and is made of 2.6mm sheet material. Also new are yellow clutch shoes for a wider clutch adjustment range, a wide front shock tower that allows to move the shocks 1mm more outwards and 1.5mm lower and a new rear axle set scrubs about 5g of weight compared to the standard kit part. Rounding out the range of option parts are new front, rear and side belts all of which are of a low-friction design. Available are the standard 210mm front, 201mm rear and 432mm side belt and also a new 3mm longer 435mm side belt that allows to run the front belt with less tension in the new 5mm chassis.
