Tamiya TA-07 Pro carbon fibre reinforced option parts

Coming from Tamiya is a range of carbon fibre reinforced option parts for the TA-07 Pro touring car kit. First up is the reinforced lower deck. The carbon fiber-reinforced nylon resin version of the kit supplied FRP lower deck alters the car’s chassis flex characteristics to improve performance on high-grip carpet and asphalt surfaces.

Also new is the carbon reinforced A-parts sprue that contains front and rear bulkheads, gear cover, motor mount post, steering arm parts and more. Like the chassis the parts are harder than the standard pieces for less flex and improved performance under high-traction conditions, such as carpet race tracks or very high traction asphalt surfaces. Last but no least come the carbon fibre reinforced K parts. The package contains various stiffener parts which adjust the chassis rigidity. They can be used in combination with the kit supplied FRP parts to alter chassis flex characteristics to various degrees. Tamiya recommends to use the #54232 RC M3x0.5mm thread forming tap to pre-tap screw holes in this very hard materials.
