Maxima Mx R6 .21 nitro on-road engine

Following the GT1 3.5cc GT engine, Maxima have introduced the Mx R6 3.5cc on-road engine. The power plant is based on the O.S. Speed R2102 and underwent several modifications to further improve the performance. Tuned for the use with 16 percent nitro fuel the engine also features a DLC-coated and tungsten-weighted crankshaft, a new ceramic main bearing for decreased internal friction and an additional combustion camber insert allows for finer engine tuning when required. On top of this a low centre of gravity cooling head lowers the over CG of the car. The factory selected, modified and tuned engines become available very soon.
