Bayer & Novotny win at Czech 1/10th off-road Nats Rd2

The second round of the Czech Electric Off-road Nationals was held in Janovice over the weekend. The super low traction conditions made things interesting especially in the 2WD classes and after the qualifying it was Xray’s Martin Bayer who swept the 2WD Buggy class by winning all qualifying rounds ahead of team mates Novotny, Gotzl, Bidovsky, Miksovsky and Mudra. The 4WD qualifiers were pretty much a blueprint of the 2WD class with Martin taking the overall TQ from Novotny, Miksovsky, Bidovsky, Gotzl and Mudra while the Stadium Truck class was TQ’d by Kaja Novotny.

The 2WD finals were ultimately won by Martin Bayer (Xray) thanks to wins in A1 and A3 while Kaja Novotny (Xray) scored a win in A2 but DNFs in the other legs. This made way for Ales Bidovsky (Xray) and Zdenek Miksovsky (Xray) in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

In the 4WD class, Martin took the win in A1, Kaja won A2 and in A3 it was a race between Martin and Ales, but in the end it was Martin Bayer (Xray) who took the overall win ahead of Kaja Novotny (Xray) and Ales Bidovsky (Xray).

In the Truck class Kaja Novotny (Xray) won A1 and A2 without any problems to take the overall win ahead of the X-rays of Martin Minyuk and Adam Skopalik.
