Green & Thurston win at BRCA 1/8th Track Nats Rd2

Round 2 of the BRCA 1/8th Track National Championship was held at the super fast Halifax track with the weather being dry and sunny for both Saturday’s practice and the race on Sunday. The entry was 36 nitro cars and 21 electric cars and by the end of the practice day Mark Green was the quickest with his XRD-powered Serpent in the nitro class while Alex Thurston with his Arrowmax-powered Serpent, was the quickest electric class driver. The two would also come out on top after Sunday’s qualifiers and they would again excel in the finals, with Mark Green taking the nitro win from Andrew Hastings (Shepard/O.S./Matrix) in 2nd and Richard Hicklin (Serpent/O.S./Contact) 3rd. In the electric class Alex Thurston was sidelined on the podium by Adam Catchpole (ARC) and Joe Hawnt (Serpent).
