Swiss Electric On-road Championship Rd3 – Report

Round 3 of the Swiss Electric On-road Championship was held in Geneva in the usual classes of Touring Modified, Touring Pro Stock, Formula and Swiss GT. 45 drivers signed in to battle it out in the most south-west point of the country. In the Touring Modified class Michele Manzo swept qualifying to secure the pole position for the triple A-mains. A1 then also went to plan for Michele but in A2 he struggled with backmarkers and he had some bobbles in A3 but nevertheless he was able to bring home the win in front of teammate Fabian Widmer. Philipp Huber would round out the podium result.

In Pro Stock it was local driver Cham Dassanayake with the win in front of young Giuliano Marra and local driver Xavier Deparde in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

The Formula class saw a clear victory of Daniel Ghirlanda in front of Simon del Monego and Andi Frattaroli. Finally in the Swiss GT category it was Roger Eifler who could secure TQ and win from Levin Hirschi and Ronald Wild.

Thanks to Mario Hässig for the report.
