Mibosport Summer Race – Report
The Mibosport Summer Race was held this past weekend in Blansko. The event attracted 43 drivers to compete in the five classes of Touring Modified, Stock LRP, Formula, Truck and LeMans. Radek Flek was in the lead after the second qualifying round of the Touring Car Modified class ahead of Michal Bok and Ladislav Lebánek. The third run was prematurely stopped due to rain and it was decided that the round would not be repeated. In the Stock LRP class Vlastimil Švec took the TQ after the third qualifying round ahead of Michal Blahovský and David Měšťan. The TQ in the Formula class went to Svetlin Douhlevski who won the qualifying very closely ahead of Lukáš Hoch. Martin Janíček took the third spot on the grid. Unfortunately the Truck and LeMans classes only saw a handful of entries and so it was decides to run both classes together in the qualifying and race and after Q3 it was Leoš Bulva with a tight gap to Milan Peška in the Truck class while Roman Krejčí took a comfortable TQ in the LeMans category.
The rain that interrupted the Touring Modified qualifiers meant things came to a halt for about 90 minutes but once the track had dried up the race would go on. The opening A-main of the Touring Car Modified class was won by Radek Flek from tone to tone ahead of Michal Bok and Ladislav Lebánek. The second A-main was in turn won by Michal Bok, when Radek had to fight back from 6th to 2nd place as Ladislav Lebánek took the 3rd place. The overall victory was fought out by Michal and Radek in the third and final A-main. When the dust had settled the overall win went to Radek Flek with Michal Bok and Ladislav Lebánek completing the podium.
Michal Blahovský was the winner of the opening A-main of the Stock LRP class ahead of Vlastimil Švec and David Měšťan. The second A-main was won by Jakub Dalecký with Vlastimil Švec moving up to the 2nd place ahead of Pavel Magda. Finally Michal Blahovský took the lead in the third A-main to grab the overall win ahead of Jakub Dalecký and Vlastimil Švec.
The Formula class was another heavily contested class with Svetlin Douhlevski taking the victory in the opening final. The second A-main was won by Martin Janíček ahead of Lukáš Hoch as Svetlin Douhlevski finished 4th. Lukáš Hoch then went on to win the third final ahead of Svetlin Douhlevski and Martin Janíček. As the three drivers were tie on points after the three final legs, the overall victory was decided by the tie-breaker and with the better qualifying position Svetlin Douhlevski took the win from Lukáš Hoch and Martin Janíček.
In the LeMans class Roman Krejčí made a clean sweep while Jiří Groch and Michal Andrlík completed the podium. In the Truck class and With two 1st place finishes, Milan Peška took the overall win ahead of Leoš Bulva and David Novák.
