Active Hobby introduce new TA07 Pro option parts

Active Hobby Products have expanded their range of option parts for the Tamiya TA07 Pro touring car. First up is a new aluminium transversal chassis stiffener. The CNC-machined and blue or black anodised part connects the outer chassis rails and thus makes for an overall increased chassis stiffness. The part weighs in at a lightweight 8.5g and it is a direct fit.

Next up is a carbon fibre upper deck that spans from the centre bulkhead to the rear bulkhead area. Using the part greatly improves pitching rigidity which will increase traction and overall stability. The part is usable separately and also in combination with the above alloy stiffener as the carbon upper deck includes a set of alloy posts to connect the stiffener and the top deck. This way a combination of different flex characteristics can be achieved to fine-tune chassis behaviour. Next up is a floating servo mount made up using alloy servo mounts and a carbon fibre top plate. While offering all benefits of a floating steering servo mount, such as less influence on chassis tweak, the assembly also allows to manipulate the chassis’ torsional flex by connecting the servo mount and the centre bulkhead Y-plate using an alloy brace. Doing so will increase high-speed stability and cornering on high-grip surfaces. Like all TA07 Pro series options, the servo mount is available in blue or black anodising. Also new are a redesigned carbon fibre and aluminium battery holder that has less influence on chassis roll characteristics while Active Hobby’s new aluminium motor plate offers a wider belt tensioner adjustment range, a low-profile design and it does away with the mounting holes for the spur gear cover. Last but not least comes an aluminium front bumper bend protection, a dogbone-shaped alloy part that limits the movement of the front bumper in the event of a crash and during high-speed runs.
